This position will be seconded to the aircraft maintenance company.
As the liaison in-charge of the airline, you shall take the lead and be responsible for the quality and schedule management of all the MRO activities.
Manage the entrusted aircraft maintenance duties to the MRO, you shall exercise engineering knowledge to determine if the maintenance and repair work are meeting the key requirements as contracted in terms of quality, punctuality and safety specifications.
Plan for multiple intensive maintenance schedules according to requirements provided.
Report, negotiate, discuss and reach consensus with headquarter daily using the required template and technical knowledge.
Handle any urgent, irregular technical issues or risk cases with adequate knowledge and experiences in order to meet the MRO schedule and quality level.
Manage supporting team and facilitate business with MRO.
Lead and supervise the team as a management.
Requirements
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Engineering or related professional field in aircraft maintenance from an accredited university.
Demonstrated high level of understanding in aircraft maintenance and requirements.
Possess expert aircraft engineering knowledge in particular for Boeing 767, 777, and 787.
At least 10-years of airline engineering experiences in the industry.
Strong ability to handle multiple maintenance projects effectively and efficiently.
Proficient in spoken and written English. Ability to communicate in written and/or spoken Japanese language would be an advantage for daily communication and coordination with headquarter.
Proficient in Microsoft office for analyzing, reporting and communicating with relevant stakeholders and headquarter.
Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience in managing and leading a team of maintenance support members. Min 5 years of experience in managerial role.
