About the Role
Our client, a reputable educational institution in Jurong West, is seeking a reliable and service-oriented Administrative Assistant to support front-line operations and general administration. This is a contract role starting May 2026, with the option to extend into 2027.
What You'll Do
- Manage the front desk - welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and maintain a professional reception environment
- Handle daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, scanning, photocopying, and correspondence to staff, students, parents, and suppliers
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Distribute keys, stationery, and teaching materials to staff
- Assist students with lost items, spare uniforms, and general enquiries liaise with parents on student-related matters
- Support school events and programmes as required
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative support role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is an advantage
- Experience in a school or educational environment is preferred
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work with minimal supervision
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 6:00pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break). No weekend or public holiday work required.
