QA Lead

Job Description

. We are seeking an experienced QA Lead / Functional Test

. Lead with a strong background in functional analysis, test management, and team leadership, particularly within healthcare or public sector transformation programs.

. The ideal candidate will drive end-to-end quality assurance processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities::

. Functional Analysis & Validation Lead requirement analysis, functional design validation, and ensure traceability across deliverables.

. Review and validate BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

. Conduct impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.

. Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure clarity of scope and requirements.

. Testing & Quality Assurance Develop and manage test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices.

. Oversee the end-to-end test lifecycle, including planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.

. Lead defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.

. Define and drive test automation strategy where applicable.

. Track and report testing metrics, risks, and quality KPIs to leadership.

. Coordination & Delivery Coordinate with development, integration, and release teams to ensure seamless delivery.

. Ensure compliance with healthcare/public sector regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

. Manage dependencies and risks across multiple workstreams.

. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead, mentor, and manage a team of functional analysts and test engineers.

. Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines.

. Provide regular status reports to project and client leadership.

. Manage client communications, expectations, and escalations effectively.

. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA and testing processes.

Required Skills::

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Healthcare IT, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in functional analysis and/or testing roles.

. 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing QA or functional teams.

. Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.

. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

. Experience working with SAP systems.

. Hands-on experience with test management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

. Strong understanding of Agile and Hybrid delivery models.

Preferred Experience::

. Experience in Healthcare or Public Sector transformation programs.

. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in healthcare/public sector environments.

. Experience in implementing test automation frameworks.

. Exposure to large-scale enterprise system implementations.
