Job Summary

The Administration Assistant provides accurate and timely administrative support to the Company's claims operations, including registering travel claims, maintaining claim and policy records, obtaining supporting information and documents, submitting payment requests, and maintaining complete records in the relevant Company and client systems. The role is based in Singapore and may require services to be performed at the client's office, other Company or Crawford Group offices, or other locations reasonably required by the Company. Any remote-working arrangement will be subject to applicable Company and client policies.

Responsibilities

  • Register travel claims accurately and promptly in the relevant Company and client systems to support claims processing
  • Update claimant, policy, status, and other required information in relevant systems to maintain current and accurate records
  • Request and follow up on additional information and supporting documents from claimants on behalf of claims handlers to ensure complete claim files
  • Prepare and submit payment requests in the internal system according to authorised instructions and procedures to facilitate timely payments
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and orderly claim records and documentation in compliance with Company, Crawford Group, and client requirements
  • Provide general administrative support and perform other reasonable duties or tasks assigned by the Company to support operational needs
  • Work at the client's office, another Company or Crawford Group office, or other locations on an ad hoc basis when reasonably required to ensure service continuity
  • Comply with all applicable laws, lawful instructions, Company and Crawford Group policies, client-site requirements, data-protection obligations, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards to uphold compliance and integrity
  • Safeguard Company, Crawford Group, client, and claimant information and property, and promptly escalate errors, exceptions, or issues to the appropriate manager to protect sensitive data and assets

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Working knowledge of administration, claims registration, document management, and data-entry processes to perform core tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn Company and client systems to support daily operations
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, complete, and confidential records to ensure data integrity
  • Clear and professional communication skills with tact and respect for local cultures and customs to foster positive interactions
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and adapt to operational requirements to maintain workflow
  • Diploma, bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
  • At least one year of relevant experience in administration, data entry, claims registration, or a similar support role preferred
  • Eligibility to work in Singapore throughout the fixed-term appointment
