Summary of Position:
The Executive, Programme provides essential support in the administration and coordination of grants and bursary schemes aimed at supporting rehabilitation and reintegration programmes for inmates, ex-offenders, and their families. The role involves processing applications, engaging with beneficiaries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting outreach and project efforts to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in processing grant and bursary applications, checking for completeness and basic eligibility.
- Liaise with applicants and community partners to follow up on required documents and provide application guidance.
- Maintain and update records and filing systems for applications and disbursements.
- Support the preparation of documents for funding approvals and ensure accurate documentation.
- Handle enquiries from beneficiaries and internal stakeholders professionally and promptly.
- Provide logistical support for interviews, outreach events, and meetings related to grants and bursaries.
- Assist in monitoring application status and fund disbursement schedules.
- Support the organisation of meetings and events, including taking minutes and preparing materials.
- Contribute to awareness-raising efforts and outreach to increase access to support schemes.
- Provide administrative support in tracking project activities, data entry, and simple reporting.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by his superiors for the purpose of fulfilling organisational needs.

Experience:
- 1 year of relevant work experience

- Proficient in MS Office
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as in a team
