Job Summary

LeapThought is seeking a responsible and detail-orientedAdmin cum Bookkeeping Executive to support the company's daily administrative and basic accounting functions. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, documentation, and general office administration to ensure smooth business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain office records, documents, and filing systems to support efficient office operations
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence to ensure timely communication
  • Track and procure office supplies and maintain inventory to avoid shortages
  • Arrange meetings, schedule appointments, and prepare necessary documents for smooth coordination
  • Maintain staff records and track leave to support HR administrative processes
  • Record bookkeeping and accounting entries accurately to maintain financial data integrity
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure timely payments and collections
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense claims to support financial operations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit readiness and reporting
  • Prepare reports and documentation for management to support decision-making
  • Support ad-hoc administrative and finance-related tasks to meet business needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum ITE qualification or above in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience in administration and/or bookkeeping
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to multitask effectively
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
