Job Summary
You will support the office by managing administrative and financial tasks, ensuring accurate processing of accounts and payroll, assisting with financial documentation, and helping maintain organized records to support smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform administrative duties to support office operations and maintain an organized work environment
- Schedule and coordinate company meetings and appointments to facilitate team collaboration
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely and accurate processing of payments
- Verify employee payroll data and submit CPF contributions according to regulatory requirements
- Prepare, organize, and issue invoices, receipts, and other financial documents to support accounting processes
- Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities to ensure accurate reporting
- Perform basic bookkeeping and accounting tasks to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Process designers expense claims and project closures to ensure accurate cost tracking
- Maintain proper filing systems and documentation for easy retrieval and compliance
- Assist in applying for HDB Hacking Permits when required to support project approvals
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Basic knowledge of accounting or bookkeeping principles to perform financial tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to manage documents and spreadsheets efficiently
- Experience with Xero accounting software is an advantage for streamlined financial management
- Relevant administrative or accounting experience to handle office and financial duties confidently
- Experience in the interior design or renovation industry is an added advantage for understanding project contexts
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask to manage various responsibilities effectively
- Responsible work attitude to ensure accuracy and reliability in financial and administrative tasks
