Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to the Project Manager in managing job number documentation related matters
- Assist in negotiate and purchase materials from both local & overseas supplier
- Submit approval of phone bills, petty cash and leave form for engineers.
- Update quotation control file records
- Follow up COC and other document with engineers
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Work closely with management and various departments on their operational requirements
- Monitor / follow up with vendors on delivery schedules
- Maintain and manage proper document filing (eg. photocopying, scanning, filing and printing)
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- ITE, Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-2 years relevant working experience preferably in the construction industry
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Possess excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Result oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work
- Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
