Job Description

Job Summary

You will manage sourcing and purchasing of tools, equipment, and materials for steel fabrication and installation, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, handle documentation and payments, and support workpass and permit applications for jobsite operations.

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase tools, equipment, spare parts, and raw materials for steel fabrication and installation
  • Identify and engage contractors for various services
  • Obtain and follow up on quotations from local and overseas suppliers
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor their progress
  • Prepare quotations for tender submissions and follow up with tenderers
  • Prepare and issue delivery orders ensure goods are received and signed by recipients
  • Issue invoices, monitor payment due dates, and verify payment readiness
  • Track shipments and coordinate delivery to job sites
  • Maintain organized filing and update all procurement and delivery documents
  • Apply for Workpass approvals required for jobsite entry
  • Apply for and issue Work Permits for foreign workers
  • Assist with workers dormitory arrangements
  • Manage work tasks effectively under pressure and stress
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of material sourcing processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel for procurement tasks
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers
  • Attention to detail and meticulous work habits
  • Chinese and English proficient
