Job Summary
Provide administrative and accounting support to the Accounts Department, mainly assisting in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, documentation and general office administration
Responsibilities
- AP - Assist in processing supplier invoices and supporting documents
- AR - Prepare and issue customer invoices and update payment records
- Accurately input and post accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions into the accounting and ERP systems to maintain financial integrity
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, resolving invoice discrepancies, and organizing financial documents to support accounting operations
- Manage professional correspondence including emails and phone inquiries
- Execute ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor or management
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma / LCCI / Accounting Related qualification
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support accounting and administrative tasks
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems will be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team environment
