Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily office operations, including documentation, filing, and coordination of internal processe.
  • Manage procurement activities such as sourcing, requesting quotations, price comparisons, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts.
  • Support marine engineering or operational teams with technical procurement requirements where applicable.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Assist in tracking budgets, expenses, and procurement costs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement procedures.
  • Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and scheduling with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform any other ad hoc administrative or procurement duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience in administrative support roles is preferred but not necessary.
  • Experience in marine engineering support, shipping operations, or technical procurement is advantageous.
  • Able to manage administrative duties and vendor coordination independently.
  • Able to work independently and proficient in Microsoft Office (ERP experience is an advantage).
