Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Support
Support the Finance Executive in daily finance and accounting operations.
Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with relevant parties to resolve payment-related queries promptly.
Process supplier invoices, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely filing of supporting documents.
Perform supplier statement reconciliation and liaise with suppliers on account-related matters.
Prepare cheques, process transactions, and update accounting records and ledgers.
Handle petty cash and perform bank deposits and other banking-related activities as required.
Prepare and submit monthly bank reconciliation statements.
Assist with company insurance matters, including documentation and renewals.
Assist with audit requirements, confirmations, and preparation of supporting documents.
Project & Administrative Support
Organize and maintain project-related documents, records, and filing systems.
Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and progress.
Provide administrative and coordination support to the project management team.
Handle document transmittals, data entry, and maintenance of digital and physical records.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and other internal or external arrangements.
Monitor office supplies and arrange replenishment when required.
Coordinate logistics arrangements, including driver schedules and other operational support.
Ensure administrative procedures and company policies are properly followed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
O Level, Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
2-3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, administration, or a similar role.
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and administrative records.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
Experience in the construction or project environment will be an advantage.
