Adjunct Lecturer (Information Technology) /School of Informatics & IT
[What you will be working on]
- Deliver engaging lessons and fulfil all teaching-related duties for full-time Diploma in Information Technology subjects, including:
- a) User Experience and Interface Design, with a focus on Figma
- b) Mobile Application Development, utilising Flutter and Dart programming
- c) Application Security, covering Node.js and Express.js web applications, including topics such as authentication, authorisation, and API security
- Provide guidance and constructive feedback to students on course content and assignments to support their learning and growth.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Adhere to the polytechnic's policies and procedures governing teaching and academic conduct.
- Commit to teaching up to 12 hours per week during daytime hours, specifically between 9 am and 6 pm
[What we are looking for]
- Possess a relevant qualification in Information Technology.
- Have at least two years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the listed ICT areas.
- Be familiar with current industry-relevant tools and technologies related to the ICT subjects.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Show a strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
