Position Summary:
We are seeking a driven Actuarial Project Analyst to support the Actuarial Function by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data that inform strategic business decisions. The role provides exposure across actuarial disciplines and supports global actuarial operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Testing
- Conduct extensive solution testing, including UAT-style validation, for automation and illustration platforms.
- Validate spreadsheet-based models and system-generated outputs against realistic insurance business scenarios.
- Perform scenario simulations to replicate realworld operational events rather than purely theoretical actuarial assumptions.
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with backend development staff, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, accurate, and ready for production deployment.
- Provide subject-matter support for complex product use cases, particularly across High Net Worth (HNW) and Indexed Universal Life (IUL) / Universal Life (UL) product lines.
Process & Quality Improvements
- Help streamline, automate, and optimise processes that currently rely heavily on manual input due to rapid product proliferation.
- Support the rollout of a Copilotenabled illustration solution designed to consume and interpret Excelbased input models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2 year of actuarial work experience in insurance or financial services
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access) and optionally SQL, QlikView, Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to compile, organize, and report results effectively.
- Excellent prioritization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
