Job Description
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will support a range of actuarial activities across experience studies, fund management, and business initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in experience monitoring and analysis to support actuarial decision-making.
- Support assumption setting exercises and sensitivity testing activities.
- Contribute to the management and reporting of actuarial and business insights.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management information for key stakeholders.
- Participate in product onboarding and implementation initiatives.
- Provide actuarial support for ad hoc projects and business requirements.
- Collaborate with regional teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
You Will Ideally Possess
- Min 2 years of actuarial experience, preferably within life insurance or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Exposure to actuarial modelling or data analytics tools such as Prophet, SQL, or Python would be advantageous.
- Progress toward actuarial professional qualifications is preferred but not essential.
