Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Accounts &Tax Senior to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounts and tax compliance and advisory services to corporate clients across diverse industries. This position offers exposure to complex accounts and tax matters, regulatory frameworks, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate income tax computations and returns in accordance with Singapore tax laws and IRAS guidelines
- Assist in compiling unaudited financial statements and supporting schedules for tax filing purposes
- Identify and resolve tax issues, including those related to tax adjustments, exemptions, and incentives (e.g. under Sections 13U, 14Q, etc.)
- Liaise with IRAS on tax queries, audits, and voluntary disclosures
- Support clients in understanding the tax implications of business transactions, restructurings, and regulatory changes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Singapore Income Tax Act, relevant circulars, and tax rulings
- Collaborate with internal teams on cross-disciplinary matters involving financial reporting, corporate law, and operational risk
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing within the firm
- Assist with GST filings and compliance matters, and/or support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation, where applicable
Person Specification
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Finance, or related discipline
- Professional certification (e.g. SCTP, ACCA, CA Singapore) is an advantage
Experience:
- Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in corporate accounts and tax compliance or advisory, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consultancy
- Familiarity with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and IRAS e-filing systems
- Experience in GST compliance or transfer pricing documentation is a strong advantage
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English proficiency in Chinese is a plus for handling bilingual documentation
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
- Client-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate and timely service
