Our teamfocuses on developing and deploying high-quality quantitative-based strategies and predictive signals (alpha) and trades on global financial markets, with the goal of achieving a long-term investment objective that is sustainable.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Accounts Specialist. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and support tasks to the Finance department, playing a key role in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
What You Will Do At Quant Matter
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including entering invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling bank statements.
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, recording and categorizing financial transactions.
- Prepare and subm it basic financial reports, such as accounts payable and receivable aging reports, and reporting to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and other accounting tasks as assigned.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist with annual financial audits.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Our Ideal Candidates Would Have
- Experienced in cryptocurrencies or derivatives transactions.
- Familiarity with blockchain transactions and on-chain asset tracking.
- Accounting or Finance Diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred but not required.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- P/L experience for trading accounts.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
