Job Summary
Support financial operations and reporting within a manufacturing environment by managing cash controls, cost analysis, audits, and compliance, while providing financial and administrative support to operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing budgets to support financial planning and control
- Manage cash controls and reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate cash flow tracking
- Perform timely and accurate account receivables and payables processing to maintain financial integrity
- Update and record financial transactions accurately to ensure reliable accounting records
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and expense reports to provide clear financial insights
- Participate in financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial records
- Monitor and update standard costs in the ERP system to maintain accurate costing data
- Analyze cost variances and prepare costing reports by evaluating revenue and expenses for financial decision-making
- Provide financial support to the operations team by resolving related operational financial issues
- Conduct quarterly stock counts to verify inventory accuracy and support financial reporting
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns to comply with tax regulations
- Liaise with tax agents for annual tax filing to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Coordinate and monitor fixed assets budgeting to control capital expenditures
- Support HR and administrative functions across the Group of Companies to facilitate smooth operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance, or ACCA certification preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience in manufacturing standard costing, auditing, budgeting, and financial planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good command of English and Mandarin for effective communication
- Knowledge of the Epicor ERP system is highly preferred
