Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Review Balance Sheet entries to ensure controls are in place to mitigate associated risks.
  • Verify that accounting entries are properly supported, accurately recorded, and timely posted.
  • Conduct monitoring and checks to identify and escalate risk and control issues for prompt resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, frameworks, procedures, and approval limits.
  • Assess the effectiveness of controls within assigned departments or functions.
  • Provide timely reporting to internal management and external stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly to queries and requests.
  • Support operational productivity initiatives and contribute to improvement and ad hoc projects.

Skills / Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with solid knowledge of accounting entries and Balance Sheet journals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to senior management
