Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Accounts Manager cum Finance Controller to take full charge of financial stewardship for our Singapore operations. This is a senior, high-impact role that requires not only technical mastery but also the ability to lead with authority, enforce strict governance, and provide actionable insights to management. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and disciplined executor who thrives in fast-paced, compliance-driven environments and can deliver accuracy under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
. Financial Leadership & Oversight
. Lead the end-to-end finance function, covering AP, AR, GL, treasury, and statutory reporting.
. Manage multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations in compliance with SFRS and IFRS.
. Ensure complete accuracy and timeliness in all month-end and year-end closing activities.
. Oversee payroll preparation and administration, ensuring compliance with statutory contributions.
. Support senior management in strategic planning, investment evaluation, and contract reviews.
. Handle and coordinate finance operations for multiple related companies globally. Compliance & Risk Management
. Guarantee full adherence to ACRA, IRAS, GST, CPF, and all statutory obligations.
. Design, implement, and continuously strengthen internal control frameworks to mitigate risks.
. Act as primary liaison with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
. Uphold uncompromising governance standards across all business functions. Performance Monitoring & Business Support
. Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and advanced financial models.
. Conduct variance, sensitivity, and scenario analyses to identify risks and opportunities.
. Closely monitor working capital, cash burn, margins, and other KPIs to safeguard financial health.
. Deliver high-quality insights and recommendations to drive profitability and operational efficiency. Team & Cross-Functional Collaboration
. Lead, mentor, and elevate the finance team to a high-performance standard.
. Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to ensure strict financial compliance.
. Act as final approval authority on high-value reconciliations, vendor contracts, and payments.
Qualifications
. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Finance (ACCA/CPA/CA preferred).
. 5 to 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a controlling or leadership role.

. Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting platforms (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
