Marine Equipment / Manufacturing | Singapore We are seeking a hands-on and driven Accounts Manager to manage full set accounts and support the company's growth. This role offers a clear pathway to Assistant Finance Manager and Finance Manager positions.
- Manage full-set accounts, execute month-end closing, and deliver accurate financial reports with clear variance analysis to support informed decision-making
- Protect company cashflow and strong understanding of AR concept to reduce receivable risk
- Execution on implementing AR SOP (billing, follow-up and escalation workflow)
- Proactively lead accounts receivable (AR) collections by chairing AR meetings with Sales and driving timely follow-ups to optimize cash flow
- Monthly AR aging and high-risk customer review, and clear escalation framework for overdue accounts.
- Execution on implementing AP SOP with approval matrix and documentation checklist
- Oversee and review monthly supplier liability
- Oversee GST filing, monitor cash flow, and perform bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Management, bankers, and external parties to ensure seamless financial operations and communication
- Prepare unaudited financial statements and coordinate audit preparation activities to support statutory compliance
- Coordinate company secretarial renewals, rental agreement renewals, and SME insurance renewals to ensure timely compliance and risk management
- Enforce budget discipline and support management in cost control initiatives to drive financial efficiency and business growth
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree/ACCA qualification in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Navision/Business Central software (advantage)
- Strong discipline in AR follow-up and meticulous financial reporting skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders independently
