Job Description: Associate / Senior Associate (Outsourced Accounting & Financial Reporting)

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accountant to join our team. This role is central to our client services, focusing on managing outsourced accounting engagements and constructing full sets of accounts for a diverse portfolio of SMEs.

The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in financial reporting standards and a reliable partner to our clients, ensuring their financial records are robust, compliant, and insightful.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounting: Independent preparation and maintenance of the full set of accounts (General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations).

• Outsourced Engagements: Manage multiple client portfolios, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare Compilation Reports and Unaudited Financial Statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and Corporate Tax computations (Form C-S/C).

• Client Advisory: Act as a primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting queries, providing guidance on best practices and internal controls.

• Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors to provide necessary schedules and documentation for year-end audits.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.

• Professional Certification: Possession of (or actively pursuing) ACCA or ISCA membership is highly prioritized.

• Experience: Minimum 1-4 years of experience in an accounting firm or a professional services environment handling outsourced accounting.

• Technical Skills: . Proficiency in cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
