Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for full-spectrum accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cash flow management, and timely compliance, while supporting daily business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Set of Accounts

  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)

  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records

  • Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and management reports

  • Manage and update cash flow tracking and projections

  • Prepare financial closing schedules and liaise with auditors and tax agents

2. Billing, Sales & Collections

  • Prepare daily sales orders and issue tax invoices, credit notes, and debit notes

  • Coordinate and arrange delivery schedules

  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

3. Compliance & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting and tax regulations

  • Support audit processes and maintain proper documentation

4. Budgeting & Analysis

  • Assist in yearly budgeting preparation and consolidation

  • Support management with basic financial analysis when required

5. Inventory & Operational Support

  • Conduct month-end stock take and reconcile inventory discrepancies

  • Liaise with warehouse and operations teams on stock matters

6. Payroll & HR Support

  • Maintain staff annual leave records and prepare attendance reports

  • Assist in verification of OT, promoter payroll, sales commissions, and packer incentive

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience (Food Manufacturing preferred)

  • Proficient in UBS Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel

  • Knowledge of Singapore GST and basic payroll processes

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask

  • Good communication skills and team collaboration
