Accounts Executive

Job Description:

• Prepare full set /Partial of accounts, financial statements and assist in audits, GST preparation for Smart Group of Companies.
• Prepare accounting schedules for audit and financial statements preparation.
• Ensure accounting deadlines are met.
• To assist basic accounting duties including but not limited to checking and data entry of sales and stock inventory, bookkeeping, petty cash management and banking duties.
• Prepare bank reconciliations of account receivables and payables to GL.
• Performing day to day transactions and provide daily administrative support to accounts and retail operations.
• Prepare and issue payment vouchers and cheque for payment or GIRO.
• Prepare invoices for billing purposes.
• Work with other company functions to resolve payment and receipt issues effectively and efficiently.
• Actively liaise with Auditor, Tax Agent and Bank and provide them with the required information efficiently and accurately.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA.
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Possess a willing-to-learn attitude.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 will be advantageous.
• Preferable with audit experience.
