Job Summary

Manage financial accounting and reporting functions to support cash flow planning and compliance within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts to ensure accurate financial records and support cash flow monitoring and planning
• Prepare detailed financial reports for management review to inform decision-making
• Compile and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support year-end audit processes by providing accurate financial documentation and explanations
• Accurately post revenues, expenses, accruals, and provisions to maintain up-to-date accounts
• Organize and maintain proper documentation and filing systems for financial records
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning
• Communicate financial information effectively to senior management for strategic oversight

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Professional Qualifications in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in the construction industry

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in MYOB accounting software
• Ability to perform meticulous and accurate data entry

• Work schedule: 5.5 days per week
