Job Summary
Manage comprehensive accounting functions to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and audit readiness, supporting the company's financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and year-end financial closing to ensure timely and accurate accounting records
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to maintain healthy cash flow and vendor relationships
- Process payroll and GST submissions in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed financial reports and reconcile bank statements to verify accuracy of financial data
- Generate invoices, process supplier payments, and reimburse staff claims efficiently
- Liaise with auditors to provide documentation and support during financial, ISO, and BizSafe audits
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial and accounting policies and regulations to maintain compliance
- Execute additional ad-hoc accounting duties as required to support business operations
Required competencies and certifications
- O-Level or Diploma in Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of experience using accounting software to perform core accounting functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial assignments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tactful communication skills and a pleasant disposition to collaborate effectively
