Job Summary
You will manage the preparation and accuracy of full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring timely monthly reporting and compliance with statutory requirements. You will drive financial processes including AR/AP, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination to support effective financial management and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring accuracy and timely monthly reporting to support business decision-making
- Execute daily accounting and finance operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, tax compliance, and bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Develop monthly cash flow projections, annual budgets, and ad-hoc financial forecasts to guide financial planning and resource allocation
- Prepare and submit statutory filings including financial statements and corporate and GST tax returns to ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with auditors to facilitate timely completion of audits and preparation of audited financial statements, ensuring transparency and accuracy
- Implement and monitor effective financial management practices and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support additional finance-related assignments and continuous process improvements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Accounting with professional qualification preferred
- Experience working in the real estate sector preferred, with 2-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision) and Cognos is advantageous
- Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
- Strong analytical skills applied to financial data review and problem resolution
- Effective multitasking skills to manage urgent requests in a fast-paced environment
