Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive (fresh graduates are welcomed to apply).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the finance department's overall efficiency. A diploma or higher qualification in accounting, finance, or related discipline is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage and process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and adjustments, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Expense Management: Monitor and track employee expenses, verifying compliance with company policies, and processing reimbursements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the finance team in the preparation and analysis of budgets and forecasts..
- Tax and Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with local financial regulations and standards.
- Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and support decision-making based on data analysis.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative duties within the finance department, as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software - MILLION and strong MS Excel skills.
Knowledge:
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working in IT industry-specific knowledge, if applicable.
Knowledge of accounting software - MILLION.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
