Manage the full set of accounts for multiple food court and coffee shop outlets, covering Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and month-end closing.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, profit & loss (P&L) reports, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
Reconcile daily sales against cash, NETS, credit card, and delivery platform collections.
Verify supplier invoices, staff claims, petty cash, and process vendor payments in a timely manner.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements (e.g., IRAS, GST submissions).
Support annual audit and tax matters, liaising with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
Work closely with operations and management to monitor costs, profitability, and variances across outlets.
Oversee and participate in stock take audits, ensuring accuracy of inventory records and proper COGS reporting.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and cash flow management.
Perform ad-hoc duties and financial reports as assigned by management.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience in the F&B industry (food courts, restaurants, coffee shops, or related sectors).
Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts independently.
Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel (experience with other accounting software such as SQL, QuickBooks, or MYOB will be an advantage).
Strong understanding of F&B operations, cost allocations, and inventory/COGS tracking.
Meticulous, well-organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and ability to work with both operations and management teams.
Comfortable with working at multiple locations (Tanjong Pagar, Katong and Aljunied) as required
