We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Accounts Executive to manage a wide range of financial and accounting duties. You will be responsible for handling daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, hands-on accounting experience, and a sharp eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
. Perform data entry and assist with the reconciliation of client bank statements.
. Verify invoices, cash receipts, and other financial documents.
. Assist in managing client accounts receivable and account schedules.
. Resolve discrepancies promptly and maintain accurate client financial records and filing systems.
. Ensure competency and accurately of invoices collected and generating credit note for goods returned.
. Handle routine client correspondence and inquiries.
. Support the Accounts team with additional duties related to client accounts as required.
. Use accounting software to track financial transactions and generate reports.
. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement process improvements when possible.
. Support the Account manager or Accountant in ad-hoc accounting tasks and financial analysis as needed.
Job Requirements:
. Minimum Diploma in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP B1).
. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
. Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
. High accuracy and attention to detail in financial data management.
. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organized records.
. Strong team spirit and willing to share knowledge with the team members.
. Understanding of relevant accounting regulations and standards.
. Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and other related services.
. Strong team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
. Time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks or deadlines.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday:
8:30 AM - 6:00 PM (OT applies after 6:00 PM)
Saturday:
From 8:00 AM onward (all hours paid as OT)
