On behalf of our client, a global shipping company with operations across Asia-Pacific, we are looking for a structured and collaborative Accounts Executive (Contract) to strengthen their accounting setup in Singapore.

In this operational, high-impact role, you will ensure timely invoice processing, accurate reimbursements, clean reconciliations and transparent monthly reporting - all essential for enabling informed decisions and keeping financial workflows dependable across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Upload supplier invoices into approval workflows and post approved invoices into the accounting system
- Process and post cash and credit card reimbursements in line with company policies
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies
- Support timely booking and tracking of monthly overhead expenses
- Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy, and efficiency
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different entities to ensure smooth financial operations
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance, or any equivalent qualification
- Have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience (accounts payable experience is a plus, but not essential)
- Be comfortable working across multiple entities with varying processes
- Have a strong interest in technology, automation, and process improvement
- Be adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn
- Take ownership of tasks from start to finish with a team-oriented mindset
- Be detail-oriented while still able to see the bigger picture
