Job Summary
Perform comprehensive full-set accounting functions to support accurate financial reporting and compliance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely closing, tax filing, and audit processes.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger transactions to maintain accurate financial records
- Reconcile bank statements monthly to verify cash balances and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly financial reports to support timely closing of accounts and management review
- Compile and file GST returns, corporate tax submissions, and Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) electronically to ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage petty cash disbursements and verify expense claims to control operational costs
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and insurers to facilitate audits and statutory requirements
- Participate in physical inventory stock takes to verify asset accuracy and support inventory control
- Assist in finance-related and administrative tasks to support overall business operations
- Organize and maintain financial documentation meticulously to ensure audit readiness and compliance
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting
- 5 years of full-set accounting experience
- 2 years of experience using MYOB, Infotech, Autocount, or Quickbook accounting software
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
