Location: Near to Kent Ridge MRT
Payroll & Financial Support
- Process monthly payroll accurately, including salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and final payments.
- Work closely with the HR team on payroll system updates and processing of final salary payments.
- Handle payroll and manpower expense enquiries from employees and internal stakeholders.
- Administer the eClaim system and maintain approval matrices.
- Reconcile payroll-related contra and suspense accounts, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Support internal and external audit requests relating to payroll, tax, and employee claims.
- Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
Controls & Compliance
- Ensure payroll controls are implemented and operating effectively.
- Review payroll processes regularly to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage payroll suspense accounts and ensure timely reconciliation and clearance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, including the CPF Act, Income Tax Act, and internal policies.
Productivity & Process Improvement
- Support the digitisation and improvement of payroll processes and financial reporting.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business, Human Resources, Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant payroll experience experience with SAP Payroll will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Singapore statutory regulations, including the CPF Act and Income Tax Act.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and coordination skills, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proactive, meticulous, and resourceful, with a positive and responsible work attitude.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
