About the RoleAs an Accounts & Costing Executive, you'll oversee essential financial and costing functions, including month-end and year-end closures, cost accounting, and variance analysis. Your insights will directly support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. You'll collaborate with managers and cross-functional teams to drive cost efficiency and support digitalization for sustainable growth.
- Position: Accounts & Costing Executive
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: Jurong Island, Singapore (Transport provided by company)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
- Salary Range: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,500 per month
- Bonus Rewards: AWS and performance-related bonuses
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage monthly and yearly closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Reconcile complex accounts such as bank accounts, payables, and receivables
- Prepare financial reports (balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements)
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Maintain accurate cost records and monitor production and inventory costs
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and depreciation schedules
- Support quarterly GST submissions and audit tasks
- Work with IT and other teams to implement digital solutions for efficiency
What They're Looking For
- Educational Background: Degree in Accounting or a similar qualification
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in accounting and costing
Key Skills & Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel SAP knowledge is a plus
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
