- Maintaining full sets of accounts for tax filing purpose
- Prepare quarterly GST returns
- Perform bank reconciliation, claims, petty cash expenses and inter-company
Job Brief: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounting Assistant to support our financial team. The ideal candidate will assist with managing expense reports, processing reimbursements, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Scope of Work:
- Handle full set of accounts and month end closing. Able to handle multiple sets of accounts(ie. AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc)
- Create and update expense reports.
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Check spreadsheets for accuracy.
- Maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed.
- Participate in annual audits/tax filings.
- Liaise with internal and external parties on billings, payments, reconciliations, audit, taxation matters
Job Experience:
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk.
- Familiar with basic bookkeeping procedures.
- Competency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
