Job Description & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance/Accnt team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, a good understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and process journal entries, staff claims, and petty cash transactions.
- Perform monthly bank and supplier statement reconciliations.
- Support in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments on billing and payment matters.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team when required.
