Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance operations. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely processing of transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry of daily financial transactions into the accounting system
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank statements and Company accounts
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal departments on billing or payment matters
- Support the Finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 12 years of accounting experience preferred (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Additional Skills (Optional)
- Experience with GST submissions or payroll processes
- Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards (if applicable)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
