Job Description

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing,payment , and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide administrative support to accounting team, includingrecord keeping, data entry and document management.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of accountingdocuments.
  • Enter financial transactions accurately into accounting systems.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closingactivities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or anequivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in an accounts administrationor similar role. Candidates with invoicing and billing experience willbe an added advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time managementskills.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.
  • A team player with a positive working attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Diploma in Accountancy/Taxation/Business related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
  • ISCA & ACCA member certified is preferred and a plus.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Expertise in time management, and the ability to adapt to change under pressure.
  • Highly collaborative approach to work.
  • Experience with Formal Accounting Software such as XERO
