Job Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing,payment , and following up on outstanding payments.
- Provide administrative support to accounting team, includingrecord keeping, data entry and document management.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper filing of accountingdocuments.
- Enter financial transactions accurately into accounting systems.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end closingactivities.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration or anequivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in an accounts administrationor similar role. Candidates with invoicing and billing experience willbe an added advantage.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time managementskills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.
- A team player with a positive working attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Able to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Diploma in Accountancy/Taxation/Business related discipline, or equivalent qualification.
- ISCA & ACCA member certified is preferred and a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting & finance
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Expertise in time management, and the ability to adapt to change under pressure.
- Highly collaborative approach to work.
- Experience with Formal Accounting Software such as XERO
