Position Summary:
The Accounts Assistant provides operational and administrative support to the Accountant and Finance Department in managing day-to-day accounting activities for entities under Longevity & Lifestyle Medical Pte Ltd and Morrow Health Pte Ltd. The role supports financial reporting, reconciliations, documentation, and finance operations while ensuring accuracy of financial records and compliance with internal processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and supporting finance operations for entities under Longevity & Lifestyle Medical Pte Ltd and Morrow Health Pte Ltd.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for management, audit, and tax purposes.
- Assist with preparation of cash flow schedules, financial reports, and bank reconciliations.
- Support preparation of GST schedules and assist with documentation required for GST submissions.
- Assist with inter-company billing entries and reconciliation of related transactions.
- Prepare payment documentation and assist in processing supplier payments, petty cash claims, and staff reimbursements for review by the Accountant.
- Maintain and update records of fixed assets movements and assist in maintaining the fixed asset register.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records in accordance with internal procedures and statutory requirements.
- Provide supporting documentation required for audit, tax, or regulatory matters.
- Assist in preparing documentation required for statutory filings and submissions to ACRA.
- Assist with payroll posting and related finance entries in collaboration with HR/GM.
- Support grant documentation and government statistical reporting where required.
Compliance & Controls
- Maintain proper supporting documentation for transactions in accordance with finance SOPs.
- Ensure all financial records and approvals are properly documented to support audit requirements.
- Assist the Accountant in maintaining internal controls and finance procedures.
Systems Administration & Data Support
- Support data entry and maintenance within ERP or accounting systems.
- Assist with system data checks and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Provide support in monitoring system transactions and identifying discrepancies.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Support finance team initiatives to improve efficiency in finance processes.
- Assist with testing and validation of system improvements or automation processes.
- Contribute to documentation of finance workflows and process improvements.
- Ensure adherence to company finance policies and internal controls
- Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation when required
- Support ad-hoc finance or administrative tasks assigned by the Financial Controller
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounting or finance support experience preferred.
- Exposure to accounting systems or ERP platforms will be advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Navision or similar).
- Basic understanding of Singapore accounting practices and GST requirements
