Job Description
Moments Logistics Pte Ltd is a growing SME in the logistics industry. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our day-to-day finance operations in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, supporting operations closely, and learning across multiple finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices (transport vendors, fuel, warehouse, services)
- Prepare customer invoices based on completed delivery and job records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, including payment follow-ups
- Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly closing
- Manage staff claims, petty cash, and supporting documentation
- Maintain proper filing of accounting records (digital and physical)
- Support GST submission and audit preparation
- Liaise with operations team, drivers, vendors, and customers on billing matters
- Prepare basic schedules, journals, and management reports as required
- Perform ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of accounting experience (SME or logistics industry preferred)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
