We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to handle local sales order processing for the local sales team. This includes ensuring that sales orders are prepared accurately and issued in a timely manner, as well as generating and posting sales invoices upon delivery of goods to customers. The role also involves assisting with daily accounting duties as required.
Receive and download purchase orders from customers generate sales orders and prepare picking lists for warehouse packing and delivery
Verify and post sales invoices upon confirmation of goods delivery
Issue credit notes for adjustments and customer returns
Process inter-branch transfer orders as required
Record inventory write-offs and disposals in the system
Update and verify retail sales documents received from outlets to ensure accuracy
Participate in year-end stock count and reconciliation exercises when required
Liaise with the local sales and warehouse teams to resolve operational issues and enquiries
Provide administrative and backup support as needed
Minimum Diploma in Accounting or a related discipline
At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience
Meticulous, well-organised, and a strong team player
Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Supportive and collaborative team environment
Stable role with exposure to both sales operations and accounting functions
