Responsibilities
- Execute full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports and statements to inform management decision-making
- Monitor and analyze job costing for marine engine manufacturing and repair projects to ensure budget adherence and cost control
- Manage billing, invoicing, and payment collection processes to optimize cash flow and customer account accuracy
- Track inventory levels and workshop expenses to support operational efficiency and cost management
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with statutory and accounting standards
- Support budgeting processes and perform additional finance-related tasks to contribute to strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Two years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or marine industries
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced use of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of accounting standards and statutory requirements relevant to the industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across functions and with external partners
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility to work extended hours when required
