We are an established insurance broking organisation providing professional insurance solutions to corporate and individual clients. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a meticulous and proactive Credit Control Executive to support the team in managing premium collection and ensure timely settlement of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, monitor, and follow up on premium payments from clients.
- Ensure premiums are collected before settlement deadlines with insurers (to comply with regulatory requirements such as credit terms under insurance broking guidelines).
- Prepare and send statements of accounts and reminders to clients.
- Reconcile insurer statements against internal records to ensure correct premiums and commissions.
- Process and validate payments to insurers based on credit terms.
- Manage reconciliation of bordereaux (if applicable) for certain classes of business.
- Coordinate with insurers to resolve mismatches, short payments, or unidentified receipts.
- Prepare aging reports and credit control summaries for management.
- Work closely with brokers/account managers to resolve outstanding premium issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting and insurance system
Skills
- Familiar with insurance billing and reconciliation processes.
- Accuracy and attention to details, good organizational skill.
- Good computer skills on MS Excel and Word.
- Able to work as a team and independently.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Good time management skill.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related filed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit control. Experience in insurance industry is an added advantage.
- Singapore citizens or Singapore PR only.
