Accounts Assistant (AP & Costing)

Job Highlights:

• Salary: Up to S$3,200 (commensurate with experience)

• Location: Gul Circle (West)

• Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days)

• Working Hours: Mon-Thu: 8:45am - 5:45pm, Fri: 8:45am - 5:15pm

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Handle Accounts Payable processing and maintain accurate records with full supporting documents
• Perform AP data entry and prepare payment runs
• Track and record monthly prepayment schedules
• Perform monthly AP and inter-company reconciliation
• Support monthly financial closing activities and yearly audit requirements
• Maintain proper filing system and assist with general administrative duties
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned

Costing / Reporting

• Prepare monthly job orders reports
• Assist in gathering monthly production output data
• Prepare and monitor raw materials movement (actual vs budget)
• Update and monitor commercial status on internal system (e.g., cost price, RFQ status, potential orders)
• Support preparation of commercial quotations
• Assist with monthly material and overhead analysis

Requirements

• Diploma in Finance / Accountancy or related discipline
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Exposure to costing is preferred candidates without costing experience but willing to learn are welcome
• Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
