We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting operations, including data entry, invoicing, and payment processing
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in monthly closing
- Prepare and update accounting schedules and reports
- Verify supplier invoices and staff claims for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors where necessary
- Support the Finance Manager in ad hoc tasks and projects
Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred (fresh graduates with relevant internships may apply)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
