Job Summary
The Accounts & HR Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day finance and HR functions to support smooth organisational operations. This role ensures accurate financial management, effective HR processes, and close coordination with internal teams to support business growth and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Finance (Core Function)
- Manage full/partial sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL)
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Track student payments, instalments, and outstanding balances
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
- Support month-end and year-end closing
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external vendors
2. Revenue & Sales Coordination (Sales Alignment)
- Work closely with Sales team on payment status and enrolment confirmation
- Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on collections
- Maintain accurate financial records for student accounts
- Support reporting on revenue and sales performance
3. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding)
- Prepare HR documentation (contracts, confirmation letters, etc.)
- Maintain employee records and HR systems
- Administer leave, attendance, and staff benefits
4. Payroll & Compensation
- Process payroll for lecturers and part-timers, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Administer staff claims and and benefits
- Support salary reviews and compensation benchmarking
5. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Support
- Support recruitment activities (job postings, screening, interview coordination)
- Liaise with hiring managers on staffing needs
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires
6. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and HR policies
- Support internal and external audits (e.g., EduTrust where applicable)
- Maintain proper documentation and records for governance
7. Operations & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with Operations and Academic teams on resource planning (e.g., lecturer payments, contracts)
- Support procurement and vendor management
- Assist in improving processes and operational efficiency

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or HR
Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of accounting principles and HR practices
- Familiarity with local regulations (e.g., CPF, MOM in Singapore)
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
