Accounting Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate, up to date financial records, including data entry and ledger maintenance.
2. Process vendor invoices, manage payments, issue customer invoices, and follow up on collections.
3. Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and assist with month end closing activities.
4. Handle petty cash, bank reconciliations, and banking of cash and cheques.
5. Assist with tax filing and audit preparation.
Administrative Responsibilities
1. Co-ordinate general office administration,including managing office supplies, equipment maintenance, and liaising with vendors.
2. Maintain systematic filing systems for both electronic and paper documents, including scanning and archiving.
3. Handle incoming/outgoing mail, courier services, and answer phone calls.
4. Provide HR support, assist with scheduling, and manage office logistics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel and Words)
2. Generally requires a diploma in accounting or business administration, with prior experience in finance or admin roles.
3. Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
