Job Summary
Nexus II Pte Ltd is a growing construction company specialising in private residential projects. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts & Admin Executive to support our daily operations and accounts functions. This role is suitable for someone who is organised, hands-on, and comfortable working in a small team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts up to trial balance or partial set depending on experience to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare invoices and payment vouchers and proactively follow up on receivables to maintain cash flow
- Oversee accounts payable processes and liaise effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely payments
- Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare basic financial reports to support management decision-making
- Maintain proper filing and organisation of accounting and administrative documents for easy retrieval and compliance
- Coordinate general office administration tasks to support smooth daily operations
- Provide ad-hoc support to management on various duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and ownership
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience construction industry experience is an advantage
- Able to use accounting software (Xero) to manage financial transactions accurately
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic office applications to support accounting and administrative tasks
