Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support Accounts Payable and general finance operations. This role involves assisting senior accounting staff with invoice processing, payment administration, procurement coordination, and general administrative duties to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable functions by verifying supporting documents and matching them accurately with supplier invoices to ensure payment accuracy
- Support monthly Accounts Payable payment processing and resolve discrepancies by following up with suppliers
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate vendor accounts
- Record customer payments and investigate discrepancies with customers or internal teams to ensure correct receivables
- Provide administrative support for project-related tasks including preparing tender documentation, managing purchase bonds, and coordinating insurance arrangements
- Maintain the fixed asset register and manage company vehicle administration, including insurance renewals, inspections, parking, and road tax renewals to ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records through data entry and assist with month-end closing activities to support timely financial reporting
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team and other departments as needed to facilitate smooth operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accounting or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Other Information
- Work schedule: 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only
