Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Officer (Banking)

The Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Officer (Banking) role manages a broad range of accounting activities within a financial institution, including financial reporting, management accounting, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulatory reporting, taxation, financial closing and internal controls. This onsite position also offers opportunities to contribute to process improvements and various projects while applying and developing specialised expertise.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial, management accounting, and MAS regulatory reports

• Handle tax matters, including GST, corporate tax, and transfer pricing

• Manage daily accounting operations and month-end/year-end closing

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls

• Drive process improvements and support various projects

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance

• Strong business communication skills in both Japanese and English

• Advanced numerical and analytical skills, including Excel proficiency

• Experience in banking/financial institutions, MAS regulatory reporting, and financial close processes

• Tax experience is an advantage
